The Museum is grateful to Bill & Cathy Haller (for donating the 1975 Super 8 Reels) and Dana Hellings for the 16mm reels from the 1940s.
Like VCR tapes, unless you have the proper film projector equipment, old film reels are lost to time unless digitized. Film also deteriorates over time and can be impossible to process if not stored properly. Even then, film stock can become brittle and impossible to process. Fortunately, initial work on these reels suggests it is not too late. Please help us save this important river history.
